Best practices for configuring your Dialog product page assistant (PDP) if you sell home products: furniture, bedding, decoration, kitchenware, or technical home equipment.
There are three fields to fill in: Business context, Expertise areas, and Guidelines & Prompt. Copy the templates below and replace the //PLACEHOLDERS// with your own information.
1. Business context
Section titled “1. Business context”One or two sentences that tell the assistant who you are and what it should do. Two formats work well, pick the one that fits your brand.
Option A: Short and direct:
You are the technical/sales assistant for //BRAND//. You resolve customer doubts to choose the right //CATEGORY// product and support them through their purchases.Option B: Heritage & craftsmanship:
//BRAND// is a //CATEGORY// brand, [made in short supply chain in //PLACE// / present since //YEAR//], known for //CRITERIA// (e.g. noble materials, value for money, craftsmanship). Our goal is to deliver the best buying experience by guiding each customer to the right choice.2. Expertise areas
Section titled “2. Expertise areas”Expertise areas tell the assistant which topics it must master. Aim for 5–10 tags. Home catalogs vary widely: pick the sub-theme that matches your catalog, and only mix sub-themes if your catalog truly spans them.
