The Dialog dashboard surfaces qualitative data from real customer conversations. Unlike Google Analytics or Shopify analytics that only give you quantitative numbers, Dialog reveals what customers are actually asking about.

  • Conversation analytics — the questions customers ask most, in their own words.
  • Product insights — missing info on product pages, spotted through recurring clarification requests.
  • Customer needs — new product opportunities, surfaced by patterns in what people are looking for but can’t find.

Don’t just read the dashboard, act on it:

  • If customers repeatedly ask about a spec that isn’t on your product page, add it.
  • If a question pattern emerges around a product you don’t sell, consider whether to add it to your catalog.
  • If the assistant gives a weak answer on a recurring topic, check if a guideline or uploaded doc could fix it.

The dashboard is the feedback loop between your customers and your store. Use it weekly.
